Stress: From a Teenager's Story

My-Linh Tran: My name is My-Linh Tran, and I am a junior at Carnegie Vanguard High School. It’s required for all juniors at my school to take the Texas Performance Standards Project (TPSP). The topic that I am researching is how art therapy can reduce stress in Teenagers. So far, I've learned that art therapy can help reduce stress by acting as a stress exposer, allowing teens to escape the emotional effects, and improving their emotional stability. For my product, I wanted to create an online group gathering for teenagers where they will be able to post their artwork on my blog and have mini group therapies in the comment section. Therefore, this blog is going to be the product of my project. Please feel free to contribute your thoughts to the posts that I will be making, for they will help the teenagers find a way to reduce their stress.
